Cerveza Dos Equis Ambar

A delious amber beer with a crisp taste. The aroma is masked by the lime on the rim of the glass, however this beer probably doesn't have much smell. The taste is extremely clean and refreshing. Served on tap at On The Border

"Drink This" A Glass for Every Beer

While we are working on our video explaining the proper glassware you should try to use for each beer, BeerAdvocate.com has already written a comprehensive list you can refer to. In the next month or two we plan to have a short video recommending 4-5 glasses every beer drinker should own and how they effect each style of beer. While each brew can have its own glass, not everyone can afford to have an entire pantry of glassware. Whether you drink from the bottle or a mug, it's ultimately up to you to discover how you best like to drink beer. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/101/glassware

Innis & Gunn Rum Cask: Oak Aged Beer

Similar to Innis & Gunn Original, this beer is darker in color and has a roasted flavor. Slightly higher in alcohol at 7.4% ABV, this beer hides it really well. Full mouth feel and strong flavors make this a great stand alone beer or enjoy with a cigar.

Innis & Gunn Original Oak Aged Beer

A small head sits atop an amber colored Scottish ale. Aged in Scottish whiskey barrels this brew has aromas of vanilla, oak, and whiskey. Full flavored and extremely well balanced. Very smooth from start to finish. With 6.6% ABV this beer hides the alcohol in its toffee and caramel notes. This beer pairs well with burgers and fatty meats. With its easy drinkable taste this beer can be dangerous in high quantity.

Samuel Adams Griffin's Bow Oaked Blonde Barley Wine Ale

First time trying this beer and it is amazing. Similar in tatse and color to Innis & Gunn Original, another favorite of ours. A sweet smell goes against the deep rich flavors of this beer. Extremely well rounded with hints of vanilla, oak, caramel, and slight orange. Should pair well with savory food or as a dessert beer.

Drink This Sam Adams Alpine Spring

This is a delicious ale, although spring is in its name it isn't as fruity as other bottle fermented spring ales. A slight aroma of lemon or orange comes off the beer and it has a light taste. miminal head tops a slighty cloudy golden beer that resembles a wheat beer. A crisp clean finish pairs great with spicy foods and hot days.

"Drink This" Innis & Gunn with Owner & Brewmaster Dougal Sharp

Owner & Brewmaster Dougal Sharp of Innis & Gunn: Oak Aged Beer talks with John Hedlund and Drink This about how he discovered this unique brew.

The Innis and Gunn story: A character is born. It all began when a famous whisky distiller contacted Master Brewer Dougal Sharp to tell him that they wanted to produce an ale-finished whisky. Many other brewers and distillers had tried to make ale finished whisky but none had succeeded. Dougal proposed a special recipe and a special technique. He created a unique ale to impart a smooth, beery character to the oak barrels. This would in turn flavour the maturing whisky. The distillers were delighted that the process worked and the resulting Ale Cask reserve Whisky was a real success. It was only many months later, after thousands of gallons of beer had been used to season the oak barrels (then tragically, thrown away), that Dougal received a call that would change everything. "You have got to taste this beer that we are pouring away. The workers have sampled it and they say it tastes absolutely delicious,"

"Drink This" South Hampton Publick House International Great Beer Expo NJ 2012

"Drink This" interviews Spencer Niebuhr from South Hampton Publick House at the Great International Beer Expo 2012. The Second Annual Expo took place on February 4, 2012 a the Meadowlands Expo Center. Southampton Double White is a truly special brew and a Southampton original. It's a stronger version of the classic Belgian white ale style. White Ales (or Witbiers) are called white because their light color and cloudy appearance make them appear almost white. They are unfiltered wheat-based brews with a unique citrus and spice character that comes from the use of orange peel and ground coriander seed in the brewing process. In creating Southampton Double White, Phil Markowski turned his fascination with the style into a quest to master one of the most challenging beers to brew. Phil stuck to the tradition of using the classic Belgian white ale ingredients like unmalted wheat, oats, coriander and orange peel, but he put his unique spin on the style by creating a "Double White" version. His version honors the original Belgian white ale style, but it has a little more of everything— more complex orangey/citrusy fruitiness, a slightly fuller body, more alcohol and a more satisfying finish. It's delicate, balanced and every bit as refreshing as the original style, but more intense. publick.com/ DrinkThis.tv @DrinkThisTweets All material within this video is owned and produced by John Hedlund and Exit 172 Productions, LLC. Drink This: Boaks Beer Interview with Brian Boak

Brian Boak chats about his beer with Drink This at the Great International Beer Expo 2012. The Second Annual Expo took place on February 4, 2012 a the Meadowlands Expo Center.

BOAKS was really started in 1999 when Brian Boak's kids bought his first kit to brew beer. He was instantly hooked. Eight years of home brewing and many awards later told him that he should share his beer. The beers we humbly present for your taste buds are based on those years of brewing. We believe that one beer does not fit all food or all times of year. We will produce beers that will challenge your taste buds and expand your knowledge of pairing beer and food.

Our Mission is to brew beer that Brian Boak likes. Mostly Belgian and some British beers.

The way we figure it, if you brew your own beer you should brew what you like. That is what we do. All of our recepies stem from Brian's homebrewing days, and homebrewers brew what they like.

We do not expect our beers to win a lot of Gold Medals. Not that people do not like them. We brew beers to our taste, not strict specifications. Strict Specifications win Gold Medals. Brewing great tasting beers win fans. We are interested in BOAKS Beer Fans, not medals.

Try our beers, if you like them buy more. If you don't, buy some other craft beers. Either way, enjoy great beer.
